PopSugar did the dirty work- they’ve put out their gown predictions for Monday’s Emmy awards show.  With two award shows in two days, we’re sure to see a fashionable feast for the eyes, and enough red carpet looks to get us through until the Winter Awards season.

Our favorite prediction from the site, is for Christina Hendricks, who loves wearing Project Runway alum Christian Siriano’s gowns!

GOLDEN GLOBES MAKE-UP: WHAT SHOULD THE STARS WEAR?

   With awards season ahead, we couldn’t help ourselves, and made some make-up suggestions for some of the lady Golden Globe Nominees.  We think some of them could switch it up, take some risks, and some would look beautiful as ever in classic styles.  Scroll down for our picks, and then tune in to your favorite red carpet coverage this Sunday to see what the stars choose.

Amy Adams Golden Glam.
  Amy Adams, the gorgeous red-head, would look stunning in this gilded gold eye paired with a classy nude lip.  She is known for her roles in Enchanted, Man of Steel, and The Fighter.  She is nominated for Best performance by an actress in a motion picture- comedy or musical for “American Hustle”.  Topping her eyes off with some gold glitter (try using M.A.C.’s pressed pigment in Damson) will make her bold blue eyes pop!  Pairing the gold eyes with a nude lip gloss, like Sweet Dreams from NARS, would class up the look without being overpowering with her glam eyes! Cate Blanchett, nominated for the film “Blue Jasmine”, wears very natural makeup. Glowing skin will highlight her features without looking like she is wearing too much make-up. She is very fair, so anything more than a nude lip will overwhelm her make-up look. Cate also has very bright blue eyes, so a light shimmer over the eyelid with mascara or fake eyelashes will make her eyes pop, while still enhancing her natural beauty. By R.G.

Jennifer Lawrence often wears dark eyes and a nude lip to award shows, but considering the hottest make-up trends from Spring 2014 fashion week, a red lip is something JLaw should definitely consider for this award season! By E.K.

This spring make-up would look great on Kerry Washington, nominated for her role in the television show “Scandal”. She usually experiments with lip color and has neutral eye shadow. Although Sally Hawkins, nominated for a supporting role in “Blue Jasmine”, usually wears a more subtle lip, she would also look great with a dramatic red lip for a change. By C.F.

Tatiana Maslany is a phenomenal actress, as demonstrated by her work on “Orphan Black” (on which she plays 7 different characters!).  She often wears a small amount of black eyeliner, but I think she would look amazing with extreme amounts of black “rebel” eyeliner, which was very popular on the Spring/Summer 2014 runways. Kristin Wayne (whose website is here: http://cms.kristinwayne.com ) has put black eyeliner on Tatiana before, and I think this is the logical next step for Tatiana’s evolving look. By S.B.

One more suggestion for Tatiana Maslany: she would be even more devastatingly hot with a mixture of pastel purple shadow and inky liner to enhance her brown eyes and help them stand out against her dark hair.  By A.D.

Zooey Deschanel: undisputed queen of quirk.  Known not only for her role on “New Girl”, but her for her bold, beautiful, blue eyes as well.  A wash of of pale blue would accentuate her natural cerulean hue without overpowering her smile. Revlon ColorStay Lip Liner would provide a perfect, matte finish.  A modern twist on a classic look—so Zooey!  With polished skin to top it all off, Zooey would surely smolder at this Sunday’s Golden Globes. But can the Queen of Cuteness ever look bad? By E.L.
